Sarah Newman
Founder & Cancer Fitness Specialist
Sarah is a Cancer & Exercise Specialist and Breast Cancer Rehab Coach. She started Get Me Back after her own cancer diagnosis in 2018 when she found returning to fitness after cancer quite scary. Not knowing where to start or what exercises she should be doing. It was also quite daunting joining exercise classes where others had no idea what she'd been through.
Sarah has had a passion for science, health and exercise from a young age. She studied Biology at university which led her to a career in medical communications. She spent 10 years working for communications agencies in London on behalf of pharmaceutical clients, communicating and educating different audiences about a number of diseases and treatments.

Following her own diagnosis her priorities changed. Sarah retrained as a Personal Trainer specialising in cancer rehabilitation, aiming to help others use exercise to support them through their own diagnosis. She wanted to use her own experience to help others regain control and find themselves again.
