Hannah Furness
Specialist Oncology Physiotherapist
Hannah is a specialist oncology and palliative care physiotherapist with 10 years of experience. Since qualifying as a chartered physiotherapist from Cardiff University, she has worked in a diverse range of clinical settings within NHS hospital and hospice settings, gaining extensive experience and knowledge across all stages and types of cancer. Her special interests include post-operative recovery, exercise prescription and symptom management (fatigue/breathlessness/pain).

She is wholeheartedly dedicated to empowering people to manage the physical side effects of cancer, to achieve the best possible treatment outcomes, reduce the risk of cancer recurrence and maintain the highest possible quality of life at every stage. She takes a holistic, empathetic, and person-centred approach to physiotherapy, working with people at all stages of their cancer care, keeping clients' needs and goals at the heart of all she does.

Alongside client-facing work, Hannah enjoys writing blogs and online content, guest lecturing in London-based universities and volunteering with cancer charities.Â
